Before applying, please take the time to read about the course you are applying for. When you do apply, please also take the time to read through the accompanying notes as this will make the application process easier for you.
Finally, if you can’t find the answer to your question or if you just want to chat about your options please feel free to get in touch with us and we will be more than happy to help you.
Application Process for the MA
We have an online application form that will guide you through the process, click on the link above and it will take you to this online form.
You can log out and restart the process at any time, as your information will be saved securely.
Once you have registered your details you will be taken through a series of questions in the following sections:
About Me – your personal details and contact information
Course – the programme you are interested in
Qualifications – details of your existing qualifications including institution and dates
Employment – a summary of your career
Experience – any relevant experience in ministry
References – you will need to provide some references
Monitoring – because we are committed to diversity and equal opportunity
Once you have submitted your application our admissions team will review it promptly and will then let you know what supporting documentation we will need you to provide. As we do not always need to see every document that you have referenced in your application form, we will confirm via email all that we need. However, typically these are the documents that we often need:
- Copy of educational qualifications, or submission of initial student evaluation*
- Copy of ID e.g. passport or birth certificate
- A digital passport style photo (for your student ID card)
- Copy of visa (if applicable)
- Copy of IELTS (if applicable)**
It is helpful for both the college and the applicant to meet before the start of your course, so we will arrange an interview for you at one of our campuses early in the application process.
*The Initial Student Evaluation is an essay for those who are coming on to the course via our mature entry route. We will send it to you once we have received your application.
**If English is not your first language and you are not a British Citizen or on a settlement VISA, you may need to take an IELTS. This is not connected to us, and can take quite a few weeks to prepare for, so book in now or talk to us about acceptable equivalents.
Once we have your application form, all your documents and you have been interviewed we will submit your full application to our internal admissions board and providing you are able to meet all the admissions criteria, we will then offer you a place on your chosen programme.
We will then send you an offer letter, together with the acceptance form that you will need to sign and return to the head office. This is the end of the application process, your place on the course is confirmed and you are fully enrolled as a ForMission College student.
If you have any further questions about either the course or the application process, please do not hesitate to contact our Admissions Team at email@example.com
